Why this app and how is it different from its competition? This app is simple to use and has an excellent feature set. It is easy on the battery, even when automatically tracking places you have visited.

How many times were we in a situation that we vaguely remember that we visited e.g. a good coffee place nearby, but where was it? Place Saver helps you to remember places you have visited.

Place Saver automatically tracks places you have visited. After few minutes, it detects that you arrived "somewhere" and it creates a new entry as "Visited Place".
Too much of a good thing? You can disable the automatic tracking and save the visited places manually.

The app saves the geo location of the visited place and its address. User can annotate a place by providing: place name, picture, place rating, category and a note.

Place Saver provides two tabs:
• Places Visited: places sorted by the last arrival time.
• Places Map: all visited places shown on one map.

Some of the app additional features:
• You can search for places by matching the name, category, ratings, address and notes.
• Show the place on a map.
• You can filter places by a region via "Limit to This Area" action in Places Map tab.
• You can manage places categories, you can define your own.
• You can mark a place as "Forget", swipe the place in the list.
• You can suppress notifications for a place.

Place Saver integrates seamlessly with the Apple Maps app to provide you additional features:
• Add an arbitrary place into Place Saver via Maps directions destination (via Apps tab).
• Share a place with your friends.
• Provide directions how to get there, and more.

If a visited place is not promptly recognized as an arrival, you can create/force the arrival manually by pressing + button in the Places Visited tab.

Have WiFi ON to increase the precision of the location services.
